Friends of Fossilfield is a small but passionate charity that exists to support the work of Fossilfield Training Centre, a place where people and ponies come together to build confidence, kindness and connection.
Fossilfield isn’t just a riding school. It’s a community. It is where children find joy in learning new skills, where adults discover calm in caring for the horses and where people of all abilities are welcomed with open arms.
Friends of Fossilfield helps make all of that possible. The charity raises vital funds to care for the horses, maintain the facilities and keep riding sessions accessible to everyone, especially those who might not otherwise have the opportunity to take part. Every donation and every bit of support helps keep Fossilfield’s gates open and its ponies happy, healthy and ready to make someone’s day a little brighter.
Friends of Fossilfield Youth Council
The Friends of Fossilfield Youth Council gives young riders a voice within the community they love. It is a group of passionate, dedicated young people who help shape the future of Fossilfield Training Centre and make sure everyone feels included.
Through the Youth Council, members learn about teamwork, leadership, and responsibility while helping to plan activities, support events, and share new ideas. It’s a chance for young people to take pride in their contributions and see how their efforts can make a real difference.
Most importantly, the Youth Council encourages friendship, confidence, and belonging. It shows that even the smallest voices can help guide the herd.
